We ordered a large plain pie, as seen in the pictures. I believe it came out close to 23$ and some change. Which I thought was a bit pricey. Now, this place acts more like a sit down restaurant than a pizzeria. So when we walked in, we needed to walk by tables that were outfitted with silverware and cloth napkins. It seemed like a nice small cozy place for a dinner date w/ your family or friends. And they have table service. I didn't look at the main menu closely, but they do serve typical Italian dishes - think pasta and Italian style chicken dishes. There really is no waiting area for people like us who ordered a pizza pie and are waiting for it to be prepared and taken outside. So we pulled. A few chairs away from the tables and sat on them in the corner by the back of the window where one can speak to the servers and kitchen staff. The pizza was nice and thin and cooked throughly. It was tasty albeit slightly oily, if that doesn't bother you, and it was solid pizza fare. Tastes like the kitchen uses fresh ingredients. It's a non-descript restaurant small and cozy preparing some delicious pies! This area of Rockland is predominantly populated by Jewish people. And there were many eating at this restaurant who seemed to be throughly enjoying the cuisine. Watching the dishes on the tables made me hungry as we waited for our order to be completed. Buon appetito! I would suggest coming here with a huge appetite and I would recommend ordering more than just the pizza. The place seems to be delivering it promises on solid red sauce dishes!!

Great! What a gem and I can't believe after twenty five years in the area I'm just discovering it. This is a Kosher mid-scale Italian restaurant with exposed brick, soft music and typical Italian style seating. Prices cannot be beat especially as this is a Kosher establishment where prices are generally a lot higher. I got the salad pizza which was perfect. The crust was flavorful, thin and had a nice layer of pesto sauce slathered on top. The salad had a light balsamic vinaigrette and I would like to go back and get more as I'm still thinking about it. We also shared the fried mozzarella balls in a pink sauce which were better than most I've had. (I eat all food, not just kosher) I would highly recommend this place, though it was packed on a Monday night the service was still good, the ambiance was there and we had a great meal out at a great price.

All six of us just had an amazing meal. My wife said the salmon was excellent. So were the pizza and pasta dishes. As I have said before, the owner is one of the nicest people we have met. He is always accommodating. Avi, our waiter, was also great.

Aldila is a great little Italian restaurant and pizzeria that serves up some great homemade pizzas and pastas as a relatively good price. Their lunch specials are great and their service is always good - because it never seems to be crowded. Aldila is probably the most mature restaurant in Monsey, they don't serve trendy foods like smoothies, sushi and wraps - they serve mostly pasta and the mood is romantic and quiet. Their eggplant parm is great and their balsamic vinaigrette is great, I am not a fan of their French onion soup - but, I have never had a good kosher French onion soup. I am not sure if they cut their own pasta, but it tastes homemade.
